Eugene Ouchi was born in Vernon, British Columbia and studied at the Alberta College of Art.
His career in the graphic design industry spans over 30 years which includes book design, information Design, corporate and entertainment design.
The National Gallery of Canada selected 8 artists to represent Canada in the 36th Venice Biennale, Venice Italy. Eugene’s prints were included in this prestigious exhibition. He has also exhibited in the British International Print Biennale, Bradford England; Graphics Canada, Art Gallery of Ontario; Canadian Printmakers, Canadian Embassy, Washington, DC; and Alberta Artists in Japan /7 Cities in Japan, sponsored by Alberta Culture.
Eugene is currently teaching at the Alberta College of Art & Design
